1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Sideline ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sideline is a team management and payment platform designed for youth sports organizations. The Service provides tools for:

  • Player registration and team roster management
  • Payment processing for registration fees and other team expenses
  • Communication between coaches, parents, and administrators
  • Financial reporting and fund distribution

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Payment Terms

Payment processing is handled through Stripe. By making a payment through the Service:

  • You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the specified amount
  • You agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by your organization
  • Your organization determines all payment amounts and refund policies

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sideline and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIDELINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
